Applicable law

The general terms and conditions of sale apply to all reservations made over the Internet, via the www.saintlouisluxembourg.com
website. They are governed by French law, without prejudice to any mandatory protective provisions that may apply in the consumer's country of residence. The customer, prior to ordering the services, declares that the reservation of these services is made for his/her personal needs and declares that he/she has full legal capacity to commit him/herself under these general conditions. The following information is mentioned during various stages of the booking process: prices, payment terms, general conditions of sale and accepted means of payment.

Booking:

The customer acknowledges that he/she has taken cognizance of the booking terms and conditions for the services available on the www.saintlouisluxembourg.com website, and that he/she has requested and obtained the necessary and/or additional information to make his/her booking with full knowledge of the facts. The customer remains solely responsible for his/her choice of services and their suitability for his/her needs, and the hotel cannot be held liable in this respect. Reservations are deemed to have been accepted by the customer at the end of the reservation process. Reservations made by the customer are made via our online reservation system (provided by D-edge), accessible via the www.saintlouisluxembourg.com website.
Upon receipt of the booking confirmation, or upon online prepayment by credit card, the booking is deemed to have been made. The customer attests to the truthfulness and accuracy of the information provided.
The Site acknowledges receipt of the customer's reservation by sending an e-mail without delay to the customer's e-mail address. In the case of online reservations, the acknowledgement of receipt of the reservation by e-mail summarizes the holiday offer, the services reserved, the prices, the conditions of sale relating to the selected rate, accepted by the customer, the date of the reservation, information relating to

Cancellation/modification of the reservation may be made directly on the Site or directly with the hotel.
If the stay is interrupted due to the customer's fault, the entire agreed price will be cashed. In the case of reservations with prepayment, no refund will be granted.
The customer is informed that he/she must leave the room before 11:00 am on the day the reservation ends. Failure to do so will result in an additional night's charge. Reservations are made by name and are therefore personal. Under no circumstances may it be transferred to a third party, whether free of charge, against payment or for commercial purposes.
On arrival, customers may be asked to fill in a police form with proof of identity in order to verify their identity.
In the event of an exceptional event, or if it is impossible to make the reserved room available to the customer, or in the event of force majeure, the hotel reserves the right to accommodate the customer in whole or in part in a hotel of an equivalent category, for services of the same nature and subject to the customer's prior agreement. Any additional cost of the room, transport between the two hotels and a telephone call will be borne by the hotel chosen.
The hotel offers free WIFI access, enabling customers to connect to the Internet. The customer undertakes to ensure that the computer resources made available by the hotel will not be used in any way whatsoever for the purposes of reproducing, representing, making available or communicating to the public works or objects protected by copyright or related rights, such as texts, images, photographs, musical works, audiovisual works, software and video games, without the authorization of the holders of the rights provided for in Books I and II of the Intellectual Property Code, where such authorization is required. Should the customer fail to comply with the aforementioned obligations, he or she risks being charged with an offence of counterfeiting (article L.335-3 of the intellectual property code), punishable by a fine of 300,000 euros and three years' imprisonment.

Dispute resolution :

The customer is hereby informed that any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of the present legal notice shall be subject to French law and the competent courts. The customer is also informed of the possibility of resorting to a conventional mediation procedure or any other alternative dispute resolution method. In the event of a dispute between the professional and the consumer, they will endeavor to find an amicable solution. In the absence of an amicable agreement, the consumer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator to which the professional belongs,
i.e. the Association of European Mediators (AME CONSO), within one year of the written complaint sent to the professional. Referral to the Consumer Mediator must be made : -
